Maybe you'll just continue gaming on your own, this kinda thing often happens when you grow older and acquire or keep different taste in video games than your friends. btw: For some reason commenting on here is reeeeally laggy, using backspace is kinda hard, I'm not sure what's up with that. However, I can never really recreate the fun times we had back than anymore, I want to have fun with them when I play league of legends, but it seems I just.can't, but they don't really like old school fps much, which I'm very into :/. Now I got an actual hosted TF2 server, because a friend of mine has his own server hosting company, so he gave it to me for free. than I got used to being able to play whatever I want when I want instead of playing with others. eventually our internet got worse and I couldn't really hoste the server at home. I didn't feel like playing with my friends much anymore because they were always busy with LOL. That's when I started pretty much ignoring my skype. Than they found league of legends, and they never really played much with me. I hosted a dedicated server from home(which worked for low amounts of people) and we had tons of fun. However, the reason this bothers me is because I used to play A LOT of TF2 with my friends. : and I like most type of games, I don't play most type of games, but I really do like most genres of games. But if you're willing to put up with the super steep learning curve and play with friends, which you're doing anyway, you get a lot of entertainment out of Yeah, I just thought of actually trying more characters, because I mainly played ashe(since I was familiar with that character. That's what I like about Dota, but like I tell people all the time, it's not for everyone. While games admittedly start out kind of boring in the farming phase, once you get into team fights and ganking, it gets completely chaotic, which is amazing to me.If you buy the right items, his move speed and agility are increased further. For example, the most recent patch, which changed the entire game substantially, made it so that my favorite hero, Bloodseeker, can eventually move super quickly and basically wipe an entire team if he's played right. When you get good with a character, you understand what items to buy to exploit the shit out of his/her strengths. There's a lot of strategy involved in the game, and I really enjoy strategy based games. When I play with people who are cool, I don't have to worry about being good or always doing the right thing, so I'm able to explore different strategies without fear of my team raging at me.Each game feels unique, even if you get the exact same heroes on each team.I'm not super into it, and only play one or two nights a week if I'm lucky, but I still enjoy it. An hour easily flies by when I'm playing a round of Dota, and it's become my favorite competitive game. I got decent with 2 or 3 characters, and found that there's a ton of strategy and skill involved in playing Dota and other MOBAs. After meeting some cool people online, I started playing with them a bunch. But, over the summer, I got bored and decided to reinstall the game. The first game I played, I thought it was the worst thing I'd ever played and immediately uninstalled it. The first time I tried Dota was like a year ago, when I first built my PC.
